BIOMETRIC POLICY
biometric data at KEA.media.
Draft, under legal review.
Last updated 18 October 2026
This is not the final biometric policy. Illinois, Texas, Washington and Colorado stay closed.
What we record and why
I agree that KEA.media records a short scan of my face (three photos: looking straight, turned left and turned right) and up to two minutes of my voice reading set texts, to create my Digital ID: the photos that show it is me and a voice sample that confirms it is me. Only if I later choose a package that uses them, and agree again in that step, are they used to build an AI presenter or a voice copy. KEA.media treats these recordings as biometric data. They are stored privately and used only for content published as me. No AI provider receives them until I agree in a later step that names that provider, and nothing is published without my yes.
Who handles it
At this step your data is handled by KEA.media, Vercel (website and private file storage), Neon (account database) and Resend (email). No AI provider.
How long we keep it
You can delete your Digital ID at any time, from any KEA.media email or from your account. If you don’t confirm your email within 24 hours of recording, the recordings are deleted. If you don’t continue, your Digital ID is deleted 90 days after it is created. After a deletion, the recordings are destroyed within 30 days; only a record of this consent and of the deletion, with no photos or recordings, is kept for 5 years.
